YOUR VOTE COUNTS!

As a reminder...our readers will vote on who each of us should take on a second date! This date will be a group date with all three participants in this contest. The winner (or the person with the most dates), will receive a free date, paid for by the other two contestants.

Your chance to participate will take place THIS WEEK! Voting will be open ONLY Monday, 01 February until Friday, 05 February. He or she who receives the most votes will be announced once final plans are in place.

Although it may seem that you can vote more than once on any given computer, only the first vote actually counts (trust us, we've tried it out).

Our final blog posts will be written about our second dates. Thanks for your support in our friendly dating competition! We have really enjoyed this opportunity to get a jump start on our personal goals.

Happy Voting!

Jon - Date #17: Belle

Name*: Belle
How I know her: We were in a musical together.

I took Belle downtown for our date. We had a quick bite to eat and went to the Planetarium for a laser show. It was set to the Dark Side of the Moon, and was pretty trippy. It was a very relaxing date, and pretty chill. We had a lot of catching up to do, and enjoyed each other's company.

Best Quality: I love how easy-going Belle is. She's totally willing to go with whatever comes up.
Highlight of Date: The Planetarium has an exhibit called Newton's Dream. It's one of those machines where the balls keep rolling and hitting chimes and bells as they go along their tracks. We stared at it for a long time.
What I Admired: One of the things Belle and I talked about was how she overcame her fear of ledges and eventually came to enjoy rappelling and rock climbing. I could tell that she has a good attitude about overcoming fears now.

The word I'd use to describe the date is: psychedelic
