As a reminder...our readers will vote on who each of us should take on a second date! This date will be a group date with all three participants in this contest. The winner (or the person with the most dates), will receive a free date, paid for by the other two contestants.

Your chance to participate will take place THIS WEEK! Voting will be open ONLY Monday, 01 February until Friday, 05 February. He or she who receives the most votes will be announced once final plans are in place.

Although it may seem that you can vote more than once on any given computer, only the first vote actually counts (trust us, we've tried it out).

Our final blog posts will be written about our second dates. Thanks for your support in our friendly dating competition! We have really enjoyed this opportunity to get a jump start on our personal goals.

And The Winner Is...

Congratulations, Shayla! There was about half a day that I thought I would win, and half a day that I thought we would tie, but she pulled a fast one on me. To be fair, she went more out of her comfort zone than Eric and I (probably combined). Her reward: the second date is on us (although her dates, experiences, and lessons this month are probably WAY more rewarding than a free date)!

Eric is the perfect man looking for the perfect woman. No really, he's the best ultimate frisbee player we've ever seen. He waterskis, rides bikes, runs, and just about anything else that's athletic. He's an incredible singer, has an awesome personality, is a perfect gentleman, and is motivated whenever he puts his mind to something. He's so smart, he's studying Biomedical Engineering at the U!

JON (Age range: 20-30. He is 26.)

Jon's fun personality and love of life make him a joy to be around! A performer at heart, Jon has got the dance of life down. As a revenue specialist for Dannon Yogurt company, Jon's a pro at calculating numbers and fun! His ability to make anyone smile will put even the grumpiest dater at ease. Jon is EQP, so if you've ever wanted to date one of those, here's your chance! Yes. You want to go out with Jon.

SHAYLA (Age range: 24-35. She is 28.)

When people advise single men to marry above themselves, they're talking about girls like Shayla. She's a perfect example of how to live your life, and inspires others to be better people. In her busy schedule, she can balance a successful career in microbiology, a faithful (and strenuous) workout regime, and an incredible social life. Shayla is adventurous (loves travelling and trying new things) and is an incredibly amazing cook. She gives amazing hugs, has a level head and is extremely intelligent. You'll regret not taking her out!
