YOUR VOTE COUNTS!

As a reminder...our readers will vote on who each of us should take on a second date! This date will be a group date with all three participants in this contest. The winner (or the person with the most dates), will receive a free date, paid for by the other two contestants.

Your chance to participate will take place THIS WEEK! Voting will be open ONLY Monday, 01 February until Friday, 05 February. He or she who receives the most votes will be announced once final plans are in place.

Although it may seem that you can vote more than once on any given computer, only the first vote actually counts (trust us, we've tried it out).

Our final blog posts will be written about our second dates. Thanks for your support in our friendly dating competition! We have really enjoyed this opportunity to get a jump start on our personal goals.

Happy Voting!

Shayla - Date #4: Romeo*

Name*: Romeo

Date Description: Romeo took me ice skating at the Gallivan Center (which, might I add, it has been my dream for a year now to go ice skating at this exact location.) We skated for hours and it seemed like minutes. Romeo is great to skate with because he dances around the ice doing goofy moves that just made me laugh. He is also very creative and comes up with new fun things to try doing on the ice.
After being kicked off the ice by the bedtime police, we went to Denny's for dessert. I got a fantabulous apple crisp which really hit the spot. We sat in the restaurant and chatted for a long time afterward.

Best Quality: Romeo has the ability to make any girl feel like a lady--or maybe more descriptive, a princess! Which of course, is every girl's dream.

Highlight of Date: Skating with a dancer. He is so comfortable on the ice that it really feels like a dance! He said we should do one of those things you see on the Olympics where the guy spins the girl around and I really believed that he could make it happen! I kept making him do this thing over and over because it was SO MUCH FUN. I'll *try to* describe it: You throw the person on the inside in front of and across you, so they end up on the other side, then you catch them and they throw you in the same manner. Did that even make sense? Pretty sure I enjoyed it much more than he did 'cause as a dancer he does cool stuff all the time. Some of us are not so privileged.

What I Admired: Romeo's positive attitude (and even excitement!) about this controversial dating competition. He puts my worries at ease.

How do you know the person you're on a date with? We're in the same ward!

Describe the date in one word? Fun
Romeo, thanks for the dance.

*Name has been changed.
